For air travel from distant points to UCI, John Wayne Airport (SNA) is located five miles from campus and has a complete regular flight schedule. Traveling through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is also possible, but less recommended as the airport lies about 40 miles north of Irvine.

If you are traveling by automobile from nearby points, Interstate Highways 5 and 405 feed into Orange Country from the north, and Interstate 5 feeds into Orange County from San Diego and points south. Need a map? Driving directions? Try MapBlast.
